Summer School
A JOYFUL EXPERIENCE.
Ljubljana Summer School in Computer Science is a 1 or 2-week programme based on a multidisciplinary and practical approach to courses and learning activities in computer science. It is organised and hosted by the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana. We invite international undergraduate and master’s students to learn, connect, and discover new places on this joyful summer experience.
The Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana, is Slovenia’s leading educational and research institution for computer and information science. The Faculty’s main function is educating computer science experts of various profiles, as well as engaging in research work in various labs.
The Faculty is also home to renowned hosting lectures, workshops, conferences, seminars and events to increase the level of computer literacy in the country.
A scholarship will be given to one applying student. The winner will be announced the first week of June on this website.

BLED.
This tourist gem of global dimensions on the edge of the Triglav National Park was nominated one of the seven new wonders of the world. It is distinguished by a mild, healing climate, picturesque island and thermal springs of lake water.
VENICE.
Would you believe that one of the most cities in the world is just 3 hours away from Ljubljana? You have to see the squares, canals, bridges and amazing Venetian Gothic architecture.

ACCOMMODATION & TRAVEL.
Do not worry about that. We will take care of it. You will stay in the student’s dormitory Vič. Ljubljana is well connected and easily reachable by bus, train or air.
ADMISSIONS.
There are no special requirements or conditions needed to apply for the summer school. Nevertheless, at least B2 level of English is needed to follow the courses and an advanced knowledge from computer science. We would recommend the summer school for students who completed any undergraduate programme in computer science.
